A Cancun rooftop pass costs MX$700 at Hive Cancun or from USD $120 per person at Royalton Chic Cancún. The gap is what's included: Royalton's covers a meal plan and standard open bar, Hive's covers the hotel's facilities.
Those are the only two published prices on the list. Rates move with the season and the day of the week, so check your own date.

Royalton Chic: you are paying for the bar
At USD $120 the pass suits a long day on the Level 18 deck. Add up the meals and drinks you would buy anyway. If that comes to one lunch and two drinks, the pass costs more than it saves.
Hive: cheaper, but not the suite pool
MX$700 buys the hotel's facilities for the day. The rooftop minipool belongs to the Master Suites (Two Beds and King), so the pass doesn't put you in it. Ask what the pass covers before you pay.
