Which Cancun rooftop pools are adults only?
By the editors Checked 2 November 2026
Eight of the 12 hotels are adults only, and just one of them sells a day pass to non-guests: Royalton Chic Cancún, 18+. Hyatt Zilara also sets a minimum age of 18.
The rule works at two levels. Temptation Cancun, Excellence Playa Mujeres and Akuazul Resorts are adults-only resorts, so there are no children anywhere. At Royalton Chic, Garza Blanca and Mondrian the limit is on the rooftop itself, and Hyatt Ziva's adults-only roof pool is for Turquoize guests.
